My love affair with Interior Design began when I realised I could create beautiful spaces that could totally transform peoples lives. Through the decade’s interior design has given me the privilege of being part of one of the noblest professions that the world has now come to appreciate and embrace.
As an Interior Designer and Interior Design Lecturer. Throughout my career, I have worked as a Self-employed/Freelance and Traditionally employed designer for both the private and public sectors.
As a Design Lecturer I have enjoyed many years teaching and inspiring a wide range of students in all aspects of interior design. I have taught from 1 day tasters to 3 year design degree courses.
I later became an Architectural Interior Designer and continued to expand my portfolio to include, interior and exterior construction renovations for a wide variety of both domestic and commercial projects.

Design Books
I chose to write this series of books called 'How to Create Vintage Interiors' to share my passion with you all, and hopefully enlighten you to your hidden potential, as I guide you through your own design creation process.
I decided to write my series of books from the view point of, ‘what I wished I had known at each stage of my design journey’.
Who will benefit from this book series? – in short ‘everyone’…. from the student who wishes to have greater clarity and direction on their interior design course, the freelance interior designer/stylist who wishes to grow their business in a new direction, or the DIY Enthusiast who wants to inject a feel of professional polish into their next project. Property Developers who wish to ensure that the properties they offer to their new residents are a home rather than just temporary accommodation. Not forgetting the lovers of all things Vintage, who simply wishe to live and work in a beautiful environment which reflects their own unique personal style and tastes.
